For the past three years, we’ve partnered with Beano to create a long-running series of motion graphics-led TV and cinema spots designed to bring the world of Beano to life for a new generation.
Each campaign is crafted to feel like a living, animated Beano comic - full of energy, colour, and comic-strip attitude. Some spots are character-led, some speak directly to parents, and others target kids with bold, silly humour - all tailored to reflect the mischievous spirit of the brand.
The campaigns are seen in local cinemas across the UK and repurposed for digital and social platforms, helping Beano stay loud, proud, and joyfully rebellious across every screen.




BEANO:
STYLE GUIDE
We created a comprehensive style guide with Beano’s licensing team to support adult-focused products. Aimed at nostalgic, trend-aware audiences, the guide includes a curated colour palette, typography, brand patterns, icons, and visual elements that blend classic Beano charm with modern design.
It features clear usage rules, layout grids, do’s and don’ts, and real-world mock-ups for products like apparel and accessories making it easy for internal teams and partners to use.
To appeal to older audiences while keeping Beano’s playful spirit, we also designed a secondary, doodle-inspired illustration toolkit featuring classic characters. This adds variety and fun while staying on-brand.
Both toolkits are combined in one guide, offering flexibility, consistency, and creative freedom for Beano’s licensing partners.




BEANO:
Christmas Advert
We handled the entire Beano Christmas campaign, from concept to shoot, post-production, and final delivery. Inspired by Beano’s signature mischief, the campaign targeted parents (especially dads) with a nostalgic but modern twist on festive traditions.
At the heart of the campaign was a live-action TV ad showing a dad unwrapping a Beano gift on Christmas morning only to get hit in the face with a spring-loaded cream pie.
We built a full set styled like a Beano-themed living room, packed with fun brand references like Dennis jumpers and slingshots even a present from Dennis himself!
The ad was supported by digital cutdowns, social content, and branded endboards, making it work seamlessly across platforms.
The result: classic Beano humour, with a festive twist.
